Her areas of expertise and courses taken at MDI include Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Practices & Implementation, Advanced Marketing Research, Services Management and Advertising Management – An IMC perspective.
She is also a Visiting Faculty at WU School of Business and Economics, Vienna to the Institute of International Marketing Management (IMM) where she teaches courses in the vein of Global Consumer Behaviour and Marketing in Emerging Markets.
Dr. Kirti Sharma has published 3 cases published by Ivey Publishing and is available at Harvard Business Publishing. These include the domains of relaunching a brand, growth of a brand as well as regarding marketing of a service offering. She has published 12 research papers in National and International Journal and another case study in European Case Clearing House. She has also presented papers in various National and International Conferences organized by EMAC, EBES, IIM-A, IIM-L, PHDCCI in Bosnia, Scotland, Slovenia, Portugal, Denmark and in India. She has completed two seed research projects in the areas of: ‘Antecedents and consequences of satisfaction and behavioural intentions in life insurance services’ and ‘Customer Gratitude, Commitment and Trust in Relationship Marketing in Indian context’. Her current research interests include consumer perception, customer value, loyalty and retention, switching behaviour of consumer and service strategies, and healthcare marketing.
She has conducted training programmes for companies like BPCL, IOCL, PNB, LIC of India, Axis Bank, Nepal Banking Academy, Engineers India Limited, MSME, Canon India, Indian Army, Department of Science and Technology, Jindal Stainless, BSES, Indian Forest Services, HPCL, Greenply Industries, Mother Dairy, etc.
