About Swapnarag Swain

Dr. Swapnarag Swain possesses valuable experience of more than 10 years in academics and industry combined together. Before joining IMI-Kolkata, he has been associated with highly reputed academic institutions like T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal, NALSAR-Hyderabad, and National Law University (NLU), Odisha. Dr. Swain has been the recipient of prestigious gold medal for being the best all-rounder in MBA at KIIT University. He is also a recipient of PGDHHM (Hospital & Healthcare Management) from Symbiosis, Pune and holds Ph. D from Utkal University. He has been teaching courses like Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, and Services Marketing. His research interest lies in the areas of service quality, healthcare marketing, brand equity and technology adoption. He has published several research papers in highly ranked peer reviewed international journals (indexed in Scopus and ranked in ABDC journal quality list) and presented several research papers in national/international conferences. Dr. Swain holds special interest in conducting training programs for healthcare professionals in the areas like healthcare service quality, patient satisfaction and healthcare marketing. He is dedicated towards creation and dissemination of knowledge in the area of marketing through his research, training and consultancy.
