It gives us immense pleasure to share that International Management Institute (IMI) Kolkata is an Academic Partner of the Bharat Blockchain Network (BBN). Bharat Blockchain Network (BBN) is India’s nationwide Hybrid Blockchain Network visioned to enable Blockchain projects of academic interest.
This pioneering platform is powered by Information Data Systems Private Limited (better known in India as Intuitive Data Solutions Private Limited) (IDS) and is supported by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The Bharat Blockchain Network initiative is positioned to create the world’s largest Academic Blockchain Consortium and Polyversity. As a part of Bharat Blockchain Network Initiative, a Blockchain Chapter and a Blockchain node has been successfully set up in IMI-Kolkata. Since IMI-Kolkata is hosting a node, IMI-Kolkata aims to start offering Blockchain services and Certified educational courses on the IDS BBN platform enabling mass audience reach to other institutes or students.
Being a part of the Bharat Blockchain Network, the students of IMI-Kolkata get closed community access for peer-to-peer learning, 15 hours Blockchain Bootcamp Course free workshops, Industry talks, networking, and mentoring support from Blockchain practitioners and mentors. Additionally, students get access to Blockchain internships and full time opportunities through IDS job boards and placement connections. In future, IMI-Kolkata also aims to attract Blockchain consulting projects and enable Blockchain research and PhDs with the support of IDS. Soon IMI-Kolkata will have a virtual presence in the Bharat Blockchain Network’s Educational Metaverse (Polyversity) environment which will help to make education more accessible, immersive, and meaningful.
Activity/Event:“Blockchain Masterclass during PGDM Orientation-5 July 2023”
Description of the Event: Blockchain masterclass was held at IMI Kolkata during the orientation program of the PGDM batch 2023-2025. The Blockchain masterclass was organized by IDS in collaboration with the IMI Kolkata Blockchain Chapter, under the expansive campaign, Bharat Blockchain Network, an IDS and AICTE Initiative. The discussion aimed at unlocking the immense potential of Blockchain Technology.
Our distinguished guest, Mr. Kishoregoutham KS, Product Manager- Blockchain, IDS, led the session and provided valuable insights into the transformative power of blockchain across various sectors.
With a focus on Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources, Mr. Kishoregoutham, emphasized the significance of blockchain in these domains. The audience was captivated by the informative and engaging session, gaining a deeper understanding of the intricacies and practical applications of blockchain technology.
