About Samyadip Chakraborty

Prof. Samyadip Chakraborty completed his PhD from IBS Hyderabad (IFHE University, AACSB accredited & NAAC A++), MBA from University of Liverpool, Liverpool, UK (triple accredited) and B.Tech from VIT University, Vellore. Prior to joining IMI Kolkata he was Area-Head Dept of Operations and IT at IBS Hyderabad. He has teaching experience at JD Birla Institute Kolkata, Adamas University Kolkata and also international teaching exposure as Visiting distinguished professor at UPH Jakarta (Universitas Pelita Harappan, Indonesia). He has over 40 peer reviewed international journal publications (Scopus and ABDC listed) and over 60 international conference publications including those at various IITs, IIMs and NITs in India and POMS conferences in the US. He is in the editorial board member and permanent reviewers of more than 10 international and national journals. He teaches subjects like ERP, Cloud computing, Multi criteria decision making, Management information systems, operations management, project management and Supply chain management. His area of research interest is Healthcare supply chain and management and health information systems including electronic health records management. He is a proponent of carbon neutral U75 movement in the east and is a Net-Zero leader.
